Why Firehouse

Firehouse Education is a unique school for Cleaners and Restorers to learn about fire and smoke restoration using real stuff that really works in the real world.

Our goal is to provide training to people on fire, smoke, and content restoration so our students can then help other people get their lives back to normal.

We believe that education should be interactive and not confined to a classroom. Doing is the best and truest way to learn, especially in the fire restoration business.

What I hear, I forget.
What I see, I remember.
What I do, I understand.
– Kung Fu Tzu (Confucius)

So you won’t find the status quo on our website, but you will find a new way to do things and we will ask you to look at what you’ve already been doing in a whole new light.

Firehouse Education is serious about giving you the tools you need to achieve whatever level of success you want in your restoration business. And the way we do that is through networking and sharing experience.

However, this website is not one sided. In fact, it is very interactive. You have a role here too. Your role is to be open minded and willing to step out of your normal way of doing things and say to yourself “Just because this is the way it has always been done doesn’t mean it’s the way it has to be done.”

I’m not worried about being politically correct here.

I am worried about getting you out of your comfort zone.

The purpose of this website is to make you think, get you engaged, make you uncomfortable:)

We are in an ever-changing industry that is demanding us to be innovative and charismatic in how we deal with, at best, a messy situation. Compassion and a very high standard of business ethics is non- negotiable in this industry.

I hope you read our blog with an open mind and a desire to create value for others.

Just something to think about.

PS. Be sure to enter your email at the top right hand corner of this page. This gets you on our Hot List of professional cleaners and restorers who will receive first notice of hot new exclusive training products and events.

    1. Well it really depends because there are so many levels of fire restoration. You can spend as little as a few hundred dollars and get into clean in place type situations all the way up to $30,000 to equip yourself for more extensive fire jobs.

Equipment needed ranges from a hydroxyl machine and Ultrasonic machine to sponges and mops.

I will do a post this week on just this topic of equipment and monies as alot of you are asking me about it. So look for my post in a couple of days for more detail.

Then please let me know if you have any more questions.
